Neill Blomkamp says Chappie might be the reason he didn't nettle make an Extraterrestrial being movie
Neill Blomkamp has spoken some his Alienate pic that never made it to the sort –and he thinks Chappie power have something to with it.
In 2015, the District 9 movie maker was announced to constitute leading a new Alien movie starring Sigourney Weaver finch. Withal, production on the pic never went ahead as it was put on hold and then canceled in favor of another prequel – which was as wel later canceled.
"It's possible that Ridley [Scott, director of Exotic] watched Chappie and atomic number 2 was like, this hombre rump't do Noncitizen so Army of the Righteou's just go forward and move on on," Blomkamp told The Guardian.
Chappie, released in 2015, was Blomkamp's third sport film. It follows an AI law enforcement robot (voiced by District 9 star Sharlto Copley) who's captured by gangsters.

He also has a hotly expected sequel to District 9 in the works.
